
Dr. Kerr is a board certified, practicing obstetrician and gynecologist in Brooklyn with over 30 years’ experience in all aspects of clinical practice. She is a member of the Richmond Health Network, affiliated with Richmond University Medical Center. Dr. Kerr earned her medical degree and completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at State University of New York Health Sciences University at Downstate Medical Center. She has served as director of Gynecology and program director for residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology for over 15 years and holds the academic position of Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology of The Icahn school of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Kerr’s practice includes normal maternity care and delivery, high risk obstetrics, and general gynecology. She has a special interest in preinvasive disease of the lower genital tract, performing colposcopy and related treatments. Gynecologic procedures include minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, vaginal surgery, and a vast experience in the management of fibroids. Dr. Kerr’s philosophy on patient care is to care for the whole patient with compassion, listening to each patient’s concerns and complaints and identifying conditions that keep them from optimal health.
