
Tia Coleman is a native Mississippian who has dreamed of being a counselor from a young age. She attended and graduated from Jackson State University where she obtained her B.S. in Psychology . During her matriculation at Jackson State University, she was a member of a number of mental health advocacy and leadership groups including Psychology at Work, Peer Educators, and Transfer Ambassadors. She obtained her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. Tia is currently an advisor for NAMI’s Open Up Mississippi where works to educate various community leaders and helpers on mental health matters.
