With over 14 years of nursing experience and my social work background, I am in a unique position of being able to provide a truly holistic approach to therapy. I foster a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship to address concerns that are specific to each client. My approach focuses on developing life skills, building strengths and positive coping skills. I use a variety of treatment modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family System (IFS), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy and others. People are experts of their own lives and are unique in their strengths and needs. I will support you in exploring your areas of strength and foster a mindset needed to achieve your desired personal outcomes.
