Inez Asante is an associate in the Intellectual Property Technology Practice Group in Baker McKenzie’s New York Office, where she works primarily on IP transactions. Inez advises multinational and domestic clients in the technology, fashion, luxury, publishing, and financial sectors on intellectual property and technology matters that arise within the course of various transactions. She regularly advises clients on matters involving the acquisition and sale of IP rights for corporate transactions. In addition to her involvement in mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructurings, her practice includes preparing and drafting license agreements, shared technology agreements, confidentiality and invention assignment agreements among others. She regularly advises on compliance with laws and regulations that concern commercial co-ventures, gift cards, and SAG-AFTRA matters. Inez’s related expertise includes brand management, intellectual property, and technology transactions.
