Ben Bongutu, Jr.

Ben Bongutu is an associate at Lasater & Martin, P.C. Prior to joining Lasater & Martin, Ben worked as a Deputy District Attorney at the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office in Arapahoe County. During his time as a Deputy District Attorney, Ben worked tirelessly to provide fair outcomes to the Arapahoe County community; he prosecuted a wide range of misdemeanor crimes, from traffic violations to 3rd Degree Assault as an Act of Domestic Violence, and conducted many jury trials. Ben has successfully negotiated difficult plea agreements and obtained guilty verdicts at trial. With extensive experience in evaluating the viability of a case for trial, which includes assessing witnesses, evaluating and litigating evidentiary issues, and weighing the social impacts of prosecution for victims and restorative justice for the community, Ben is excited to put his well-honed skills to use representing clients at Lasater & Martin.
