
Let’s face it, life can be tough. Do you find yourself exhausted trying to live up to unrealistic expectations in your career, school, at home or in your relationships? As a woman, I understand the internal struggles of trying to be the best at everything while putting our own needs last. As a black woman, I have remained stoic in times of despair to avoid appearing weak and felt undervalued despite working harder than my peers. And as a child of an immigrant, I understand the hopes put on the first generation American to achieve the goals that your parents could only dream of.
