
Ashlee is a patent litigation associate at Perkins Coie. She has experience across multiple phases of litigation, including invalidity and noninfringement analysis and defense, claim construction, Markman hearings, drafting complex motions, assisting with expert reports, and supporting various pretrial matters. She has also been involved in a Section 337 Investigation before the U.S. International Trade Commission. Ashlee is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, where she served as an editor of the Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal. While in law school, she was a student attorney at the university’s Domestic Violence Clinic, directly representing survivors to secure legal justice and equity. As a 2020 and 2021 summer associate at Perkins Coie, Ashlee handled a variety of patent litigation and intellectual property matters. She also was previously a judicial intern to the Hon. Alan D. Albright at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas. Prior to law school, Ashlee studied electrical engineering at Prairie View A&M University. She completed technical internships with GE Energy, ExxonMobil, Chevron Phillips, and Chevron—gaining experience in both upstream and downstream oil & gas operations, including working offshore. She also was a Consultant at Accenture in Houston, Texas. In her spare time, Ashlee enjoys leading initiatives to connect diverse students with pathways to engineering and legal careers. Ashlee is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
