
Brittani A. Jackson represents clients in a broad range of matters, including commercial contract disputes, shareholder activism, issues of corporate governance, antitrust, and securities litigation. Ms. Jackson has experience litigating cases throughout every stage of the process—from writing pre- and post-trial briefs to conducting witness interviews, taking and defending depositions, leading discovery efforts including representing client’s interests in court hearings, and preparing witnesses and experts for deposition and trial examination. Ms. Jackson has also represented clients in investigations being conducted by the Securities and Exchange Commission and the California and New York State Attorney General and has spearheaded numerous internal corporate investigations. Ms. Jackson regularly counsels clients and provides guidance related to overarching trial and litigation strategy: from aggressive motion practice to receiving favorable settlements after strategic discovery efforts, her efforts have certainly gained her the trust of both clients and colleagues alike. Prior to joining Hueston Hennigan, Ms. Jackson was a litigation associate at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in New York, where she handled a wide variety of matters, including representing corporations in securities litigation and shareholder demands, high-profile investigations, and multimillion-dollar lawsuits concerning breaches of contract and fiduciary duty.
