
Children, adolescents, and adults who have faced challenging experiences in their lives or who are currently facing challenging experiences in their lives need and deserve to exist in spaces where they feel safe, can be heard and are accepted as they are. They often come to therapy because they believe they deserve to heal from their past experiences or cope with current experiences for themselves and those around them. Many of them also come to believe that they are inherently worthy of existing in a space that is safe and accepting of their authentic selves, which can be very freeing. I use strength based approaches and incorporate play into my sessions with children and adolescents as a way to meet them where they are at. With adults, I use motivational interviewing, strength-based approaches, and solution-focused approaches. I am able to form strong relationships with my clients and assist them in the healing process. I believe that everyone can benefit from seeing a therapist. It is a very isolating and anxiety-inducing time for many, and you may be starting to confront painful things from your past or are currently undergoing a painful experience. I am here to listen, to talk, to be with you in the process of healing and coping. We can and will get through this together
