Dr. Egesi was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Houston with a BSc. in Biology and was inducted into the Golden Key Honor Society. She earned a chance at the internationally recognized Baylor College of Medicine for her medical education where she also graduated top of her class. Dr. Egesi completed her internship and residency in dermatology at the University of Cincinnati and served as chief resident and became a board-certified dermatologist. Living in Ohio afforded her the pleasure of the breathtaking beauty of the four seasons in their climate and how to survive the winter among other things.
