
Dr. Trammell is an internist in the Division of General Internal Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. He completed his medical degree at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN and Internal Medicine Residency at Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, GA. Dr. Trammell served as a Chief Resident of Internal Medicine followed by a two-year research fellowship at the Mercer University School of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology. He investigated factors that impact long-term survival and cognitive status after in-hospital cardiac arrest. After completing the research fellowship, he joined the Emory University School of Medicine faculty in 2009.
