
Dr. Brittany Carter-Snell, is a board-certified dermatologist, trained in both dermatology and internal medicine. As a native Detroiter, she enjoys serving her community through the Carter Snell Skin Center (CSSC). As one of few dermatologists in the metro area fully trained in internal medicine, Dr. Carter-Snell’s unique approach to patient care focuses on evaluating the person as a whole, ensuring inner health, while caring for the largest organ of the body – the skin. Dr. Carter-Snell received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and her medical doctorate from Michigan State University. While in medical school she received high honors, was inducted into the honors fraternity Sigma Sigma Phi, and recognized with the Judith K. Weiswasser Memorial Award, given to the woman graduate deemed to be outstanding academically, professionally, and personally. She went on to complete a combined internal medicine-dermatology residency through Ohio University and excelled in both specialties. Dr. Carter-Snell was the recipient of the Arnold P. Gold Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award for internal medicine. She was first place winner for outstanding participation in the National Medical Association John A.
