
Dr. Diane A. Thompson is a board-certified Lifestyle Medicine physician and Physiatrist specializing in Neurorehabilitation. With a deep commitment to helping individuals regain function, optimize health, and age vibrantly, she brings a wealth of experience from both clinical practice and leadership roles. Before becoming a physician, Dr. Thompson worked as a primary care nurse practitioner, giving her a unique, patient-centered approach to care. She earned her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed her residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia and Cornell. She then served as an Assistant Clinical Professor and Medical Director of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, while also holding an Adjunct Assistant Professor role at Weill Cornell Medicine. Throughout her career, Dr. Thompson has led innovative rehabilitation and lifestyle medicine programs. As the Medical Director of Cardiopulmonary Rehab, she pioneered a lifestyle medicine initiative to improve patient outcomes. She
