As an African American therapist, I’ve chosen to focus my practice on the mental well-being of minorities. Why? Because I’ve lived it, and I know the unique challenges we face. It’s not just about therapy; it’s about creating a safe haven where you can unpack the layers of your experiences, unapologetically be yourself, and embrace the strength within. So, why did I become a therapist? Well, life threw its fair share of curveballs my way, and I learned the power of seeking support. I understand the constant juggling act of trying to be there for everyone else; its a delicate dance and I’m here to be a safety net.
