Dr. Rachel Villanueva

Dr. Rachel Villanueva is a board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist and has been in practice for over 20 years. She received her medical degree from Yale School of Medicine and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics/Gynecology at the New York University’s Grossman School of Medicine. She is a past president of the National Medical Association (NMA), the nation’s oldest and largest organization representing African American healthcare professionals, and is a member of the Medical Advisory Group of the Black Health Trust, a group of physicians and health care professionals committed to educating and serving communities of color. Dr. Villanueva has held numerous local, regional and national leadership positions, including Chair of the Board of Trustees, Speaker of the House of Delegates, and Chair of the Council on Concerns of Women Physicians.
