
Attorney Glenda Freeman, a native of Birmingham, AL educated in the Birmingham Public School system; a graduate of Miles College and Miles Law School. Attorney Freeman is an Attorney with the Legal Aid Society of Birmingham (Bessemer office). She has served as the President of the Alabama Lawyers Association; she has served as a Board member for Youth Towers; former tutor and junior board member for Grace House Ministries. Currently, she serves as the President of the Miles Law School Alumni Association. Attorney Freeman is an active member of the Junior League of Birmingham and a Twenty-five year- Life member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She serves on the Character and Fitness committee of the Alabama State Bar; active member of the Birmingham Bar Association; and an active member of the National Counsel of Bar Presidents. She is active with her church, First Missionary Baptist Church of Hueytown; serving on the usher’s ministry. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, listening jazz and classical music; playing tennis, traveling, crossword puzzles and lots of time with family.
