Children often do not have the words and vocabulary to fully express everything that has happened or how it has impacted them. When given a safe and nurturing environment in which a child can feel comfortable expressing feelings and working through life’s obstacles, so much can be positively accomplished regardless of what a child may be going through. I am passionate about meeting each child where he or she is at emotionally by providing a warm, caring, and non-judgmental atmosphere in order to allow the therapeutic agents of change to naturally take place through play.
