Accepting new clients for low cost sessions! I want to start by acknowledging how hard it can be to reach out for support. It’s normal to feel unsure, worried about being judged, or uncertain about whether therapy will help. As a Black therapist, I understand how vulnerable it can feel to take that first step, especially when you’ve learned to keep parts of yourself hidden to stay safe. When you’ve survived by people-pleasing, dissociating, or complying—especially in the face of trauma and abuse, it can feel overwhelming to imagine things being different. Therapy offers a space where you no longer have to carry these burdens alone.
