
I am an experienced registered social worker who is passionate about providing a validating space for people struggling with unpleasant emotions and various mental health challenges such as depression and anxiety. I strongly believe that individuals have the capacity to experience meaningful lives despite difficult transitions, unexpected life changes and/or stressors. As your therapist, I offer guidance, opportunities for reflection and hopefully the occasional laugh, as you engage in your personal healing journey. My practice is grounded in equity, inclusion, anti-racism, and cultural sensitivity. I am rooted in compassion, curiosity, collaboration and respect. I also acknowledge the effects of various types of trauma and how it may impact holistic health and your relationship with yourself and others. I use an individualized and eclectic approach that is solution-focused, strength-based, with elements from clinical modalities such as CBT, DBT, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I hope to co-create a non-judgemental environment where you feel safe enough to bring your authentic self to the therapeutic process and begin to work on your wellness goals.
