Dr. Jessica A. Scott is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and fellowship-trained in glaucoma. She received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Maryland in College Park. While in school, she worked as a public health intern at the National Eye Institute (NEI) at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Jessica Scott received her Master of Science in Biomedical Science from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Georgia. She went on to earn her medical degree, cum laude, from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Jessica Scott completed her ophthalmology residency training at The Ohio State University in Columbus. She also pursued and completed specialized fellowship training in glaucoma at the prestigious New York Presbyterian-Columbia University Medical Center in New York City, under the tutelage of world-renowned glaucoma specialist, Dr. Jeffrey Liebmann. Throughout her medical career, Dr. Jessica Scott has authored many peer-reviewed journal articles and presented her work at national meetings. She is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Glaucoma Society. Dr. Scott deeply values using a team approach with her patients and taking the time to provide education and guidance.
