
Counselling is you giving yourself an opportunity to heal. Doing anything new is often scary and you may feel hesitant in taking this step. I would like to support you in taking this step to allow yourself the opportunity to build insight and heal from trauma, or create boundaries in overly challenging and complex relationships. I use a collaborative approach with the use of Cognitive-Behaviourial Therapy (CBT), Strength-Based and Solution-Focused Therapy that is culturally sensitive to offer the support you desire in-order to move towards your goal to have the life and relationships that you desire. I have a Bachelors of Honours in Health and Social Work with a major in Psychology, as well as a Masters Degree in Social Work. I have over 5 years of experience working with children, adolescents, families and couples, providing trauma informed therapy regarding childhood trauma, family conflict, intimate partner violence, life transitions, and work issues.
