My name is Marquiera, but I go by Q. I’ve been working in social services for about 6 years. I have my bachelors and masters degrees, both in social work. I recently obtained my masters level licensure and I have been a therapist since last October. I know that therapy can be challenging and there’s a lot of negative connotations about speaking with a therapist. I’m here to tell you that we must push back against the stereotypes and do what we need to do to grow and heal.
