
Mohamed Barry advises clients on their most complex employment and labor issues. Specializing in traditional labor matters involving collective bargaining, union organizing, arbitrations, and strikes, Mohamed has successfully defended employers in court, mediation, and administrative proceedings. Mohamed advises clients to help them comply with laws and regulations affecting the workplace and provides guidance on various employment law matters. He conducts workplace investigations and trains management on a range of issues, including union avoidance, Equal Employment Opportunity Act compliance, and DEI. Before joining DWT, Mohamed practiced employment and labor law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He previously served as a deputy attorney general in New Jersey, where he prosecuted trials and handled hearings and arguments in state Superior Court, including at the appellate level. He was selected as a member of the 2022 Class for Leadership Newark’s Public Policy Fellows, a two-year program dedicated to building stronger communities through activism and civic engagement. He has written and edited for various publications, including Law360 and Developing Labor Law.
