Everyone experiences points in their lives where they feel overwhelmed and lost. Everyday stressors and traumatic experiences make giving up seem like the best option. I am here to tell you that you are not alone. My name is Priscilla Ocran and I am a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist. I have my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Toronto specializing in mental health. I have several years of experience supporting people with processing and working through difficult life challenges. I work in collaboration with you to help you reconnect with self and work towards your desired outcome. I offer services addressing topics related but not limited to anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation, stress, relationships, family issues, racism and discrimination, depression and self esteem. With a specific focus on supporting BIPOC communities. I work from a person-centred trauma informed lens. I incorporate a variety of different therapeutic approaches in my work such as cultural responsive Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Emotion Focused Therapy. Reaching out for support may not be easy however we can work together to help you navigate life’s different challenges.
