I am a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with a strong foundation in both mental health and acute medical care, currently serving in Saskatchewan’s provincial correctional and hospital systems. With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Regina and a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from the University of Alberta, I bring a unique blend of clinical knowledge, human movement science, and interpersonal skills to every patient interaction.

My experience spans rural and urban healthcare environments, including work at Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw and the Regina General Hospital, where I’ve cared for patients facing complex mental health conditions, acute medical crises, and chronic disease management. I’ve also worked on the frontlines in corrections—first as a Correctional Officer for three years, and now as a Correctional Nurse—providing trauma-informed, culturally sensitive care in high-pressure, security-sensitive environments.

What sets me apart is my ability to stay composed under pressure, my passion for mental health nursing, and my commitment to supporting vulnerable populations through evidence-based interventions, therapeutic communication, and a collaborative, team-focused approach.

Whether I’m managing an emergency on a medical unit, de-escalating a mental health crisis, or providing continuity of care in a correctional facility, I strive to create an environment of dignity, safety, and healing.
