My name is Shaon Martineau, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). My approach to therapy is rooted in creating a safe and collaborative space where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. I believe in tailoring the therapeutic experience to meet each individual’s unique needs, drawing from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Narrative Therapy. I typically work with adults navigating mild to moderate mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. In sessions with me, clients can expect a warm and inviting environment where they feel respected, supported, and genuinely cared for. I strive to create a space that balances thoughtful exploration with practical guidance, offering both the freedom to unpack emotions and the tools to navigate life’s challenges. During our first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming space where the focus is on understanding your story and what brought you to therapy. We’ll explore the concerns or challenges you’re facing, discuss your goals, and begin to identify what feels most important to you in this process.
