I integrate approaches from CBT, Gestalt, and SFBT, using a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive and culturally-sensitive lens. I aim to support individuals and couples with a specialized focus on Black peri-natal mental health, using an anti-oppressive framework ensuring that therapy is affirming, respectful, and attentive to each individual’s lived experience. Through a collaborative and client-centred approach, I empower individuals to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, fostering self-awareness and resilience. By creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment, I facilitate healing and growth, helping clients build coping skills and develop a greater sense of self-compassion and empowerment.
