The Queen City community is resilient because of the beautiful people it is composed of. I’m not talking about physical appearance or perfection of character, but the hope that this city breathes day in and day out. Every day, I interact with people who are brokenhearted, grieving, and/or anxiously waiting to be seen for who they are. These people are striving for change because their future depends on it. Suppose you are looking for an environment to work through these or similarly complex spaces and would like to improve the quality of life for yourself or those you love. In that case, you are one of these beautiful people with hope that I am referring to (even if you don’t feel that way). As a counselor, I know vulnerability can be scarier than the dark because a person is opening themselves up to the possibility of being hurt while hoping for better. As a human, I am passionate about providing safe spaces filled with care, compassion, and collaboration
