I work with clients who may experience the following; struggle to take time to process how events have impacted them, need assistance with adjusting to a change in routine, struggle to understand their own self worth or identity, struggle with low self esteem/image, struggle with healthy relationships due to a lack of boundaries or poor communication skills, or are struggling with understanding and having a harmonious relationship with their spouse or family member. I assist the client by building a relationship to get to know the client first and foremost. I then work to help the clients identify their feelings from their experience & I validate both the clients feelings and experience. I assist the client with learning the necessary skills to build self worth, communication, and boundaries for optimal relationships.
