Tracie Reese focuses her practice on defending against construction defects claims. She truly believes there is nothing greater than earning the client’s trust, maintaining the client’s trust and effectively communicating with the client. Tracie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City. She then attended Florida Coastal School of Law, where she served as a member of the Moot Court Honor Board, and a Student Ambassador. While at law school, Tracie served as the Managing Editor for the Southern Journal of Policy and Justice. Additionally, Tracie received an award for Pro Bono Honors and earned certificates in Criminal law and Student Leadership. Tracie later graduated with honors from Stetson University College of Law with her Master of Law Degree in Advocacy. Prior to joining Kubicki Draper, Tracie gained extensive litigation, courtroom, and trial experience as an Assistant Public Defender in Hillsborough County, Florida, where she represented many clients who were charged with various criminal offenses ranging from simple ordinance violations, to second degree felony offenses. Through extremely thorough investigation, motion practice, client communication, and effective story telling in trial, Tracie was able to successfully accomplish the goals of her clients whether it was a negotiated plea agreement or obtaining not guilty verdicts in a jury trial. In her free time, Tracie enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and playing tennis.
